WELCOME TO THE PILGRIM BENEFICE
|
|
The Pilgrim Benefice is so called because, in days gone by, a route for pilgrims
en route to Wymondham Abbey passed through the area now covered by the Benefice. It includes five medieval churches at Aslacton, Bunwell, Carleton Rode, Great Moulton and Tibenham, and is part of the Depwade Deanery.
The Benefice is currently without a Rector and is under the overall
superintendence of the Rural Dean, the Rev David Sochon.
The Rev. Andrew Good has been licensed as Assistant Priest to the Rural Dean
to work in our benefice on a temporary and part time basis. |
